O PROJETO Há alguns anos vínhamos escrevendo literatura, fazendo fanzines eletrônicos e impressos, organizando festas, produzindo material gráfico para nossos projetos pessoais e, no caso do Pilla, desenvolvendo trabalhos nas áreas de cinema e ilustração. Numa madrugada, tivemos o insight: fazer a nossa própria editora, nossa marca e nosso grupo de iniciativa independente. Levar nossos próprios contos, e futuramente a literatura de outros escritores, para o universo da publicação impressa, para as pequenas livrarias e estantes das pessoas.
Então sentamos na frente dos nossos computadores, nos reunimos algumas vezes, repassando pilhas de desenhos do Pilla, revisando e selecionando nossos textos, até chegarmos a um projeto: Livros do Mal. Não uma editora no sentido formal da palavra, e sim um esforço de publicação independente, apoiado na simples vontade de fazer um trabalho legal, fazer livros, divulgar nossa literatura e divulgar a literatura de outros escritores desconhecidos cujo trabalho admiramos. A Livros do Mal é uma cooperativa: talvez seja esse o termo mais adequado. Nela investimos nosso dinheiro, e nosso retorno deve ser o prazer de ver livros de nossa autoria impressos e divulgados, e de poder publicar ainda outros autores. E não queremos apenas editar livros: queremos dar uma socializada no que a produção literária e artística deste país tem de mais legal, debater, compartilhar, discutir rumos, alcançar o máximo número de pessoas que for possível.
Para iniciar a idéia, partimos para a publicação de dois livros de contos: What is generic for prednisone, de Daniel Galera, e Prednisone 1 mg buy, de Daniel Pellizzari, ambos com capas ilustradas por Guilherme Pilla. Em busca de apoio, inscrevemos um projeto no FUMPROARTE, programa de financiamento cultural da Prefeitura de Porto Alegre. Com elogios a seus atributos formais e artísticos, o projeto Livros do Mal foi selecionado em primeiro lugar na classificação geral do edital 2001/1 do FUMPROARTE, entre mais de uma centena de projetos nas áreas de literatura, música, teatro, dança, cinema e outras. Logo em seguida abrimos nosso catálogo para autores de fora. Publicamos Deltasone tablets 10mg, Paulo Bullar, Cristiano Baldi. E pretendemos publicar muitos outros. Naturalmente, aceitamos originais para análise. E temos recebido uma resposta imensa dos leitores e também da imprensa.
Queremos dar espaço para a produção e discussão do novo na literatura e, posteriormente, nas artes em geral. Catalisar literatura que traga visões novas, que ultrapassem o exercício estético vazio, o lugar-comum da classe média ou deslumbramento com o mundo pop. Pensamos em lançar títulos com propostas menos tradicionais, e apresentar a um público mais amplo autores iniciantes e talentosos que ainda produzindo literatura por aí, alguns deles participantes dos meios eletrônicos de laboratório e divulgação.

Although there has never been a veteran's hospital in the state of Georgia, Kapp says Auburn will work with the private sector to provide care for veterans. "We expect it to be very helpful," he said. "I think it's something that will help our veterans." While the Veterans' Medical Education Program is not the only VA program in Alabama, it's one of the state's largest and most prestigious, according to Auburn. The program began in 1998 and was extended 2007. The VA said number of students taking training in the program has grown over past decade, doubling each year. The program is projected to add nearly 1,200 new students in 2016. It also expects more than 100 graduates to be on-site serve in the South. Veterans Affairs is also expanding its training program for physicians who will work in communities where there are not enough private physicians. "As a nation we need to have a robust and diverse physician workforce to meet the needs of veterans, including need for care in remote and underserved areas," said the program's program director, Paul Miller. "This will ensure we have a well trained and empowered physician workforce who have received the proper training and mentoring to do their jobs."
